The ego rope
Around my throat
Chokes
Epiphany
From my tongue.
The ego rope
Sedates
The mind
Proverbial hindrance
That causes
Us
To align
With
This or That
It matters not
Which side
When sides
Are fictitious
Lines.
Thus,
The 'I'
Today
Must decide
To cut that rope
To shred that rope.
Lest
The 'I'
Remain
Inside
Lines of demise
And disguise
Unrealized.
Lest
The 'I'
Remain
Aligned
With
Lies.
